(1) Based upon the pattern in other personal names ending in "ia" this is probably a name.
(2) Etruscan goddess who is the mother of Helen of Troy. Zeus chased her, changed into a swan to catch her; she changed into a goose. Her egg became Helen of Troy, the Queen of Sparta who was the most beautiful woman at the time. See the Divine_Mirror.html.
